Pastor Todd to Highlight Wesley Pilgrimage Experiences in England

You are all cordially invited to a COVERED DISH SUPPER this Sunday, JULY 31, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. Meats, drinks and paper products will be provided, please bring side dishes, salads and desserts for your family and extra to share. After supper we will move to the sanctuary where Pastor Todd will be giving highlights of his experiences following the Wesleyan Pilgrimage.

This educational experience will highlight many historic sites that impacted Methodism in the 18th and 19th centuries. Come and learn about John and Charles Wesley and their up-bringing in Epworth, learn about their studies at Oxford and Christ Church, hear stories of the founding of the Foundry and New Room in Bristol, and see pictures of Wesley House and Chapel in London. Also, learn about the early years of Frances Asbury and his love for the Methodist Movement in America.

This fun filled educational experience will be a blessing to all who can attend. Come and learn more about the people called Methodist in England and also in America.
